Sifu Lenny Aaron performing the the Wu Style fast (round) form as taught to him by Grandmaster Leung Shum who learned Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan from his godfather Ng Wai Nung who had two major instructors; Chui Sau Chun and Lau Bin Hun. Two very famous sifus

Very different than most Wu Styles that you've seen. Some people call this the round form.

This was shot in the mid 90s so I hope I have improved since then. The music was added in the 1940s and has been a part of the form ever since.

  • I really enjoy your form. Do you teach?

  • @kirshenbaum yes, check out yingjowpai(dot)com

  • is there a way that i can learn tai chi by videos itself as there are no teachers in my area.

  • @adasdful In my opinion, without a good foundation and understanding of Tai Chi principles, I don't believe you could learn it by yourself. I believe it is too difficult to pick up the details from a video and a lot of Tai Chi is in the details. I'd be afraid you would pick up too many bad habits which are hard to lose later. Sorry, it's just my opinion.

  • The wu form I have been taught is similar to this, but a little more compact, less rounded and (I think) more directly appliable.

Our lineage comes via Cheng Wing Kwong, and is focussed on taichi as a martial art.

  • would love to see it. Do you have any posts?

  • CAN HE REALLY FIGHT? AGAINST A SPARTAN?

  • We are from the same lineage. Ying Jin Pai Association Sifu Walth has been my instructor. Your Round Form is nearly flawless. Loved your Kicking technique and transition. Loved your insideout foot movement emphasis. Your sword form must be awesome.

  • This form is also full of applications...approximately 7 applications per named movement of 108.

  • Nice job....wish my round form were that smooth.

  • Wow, this guy moves really smooth, totally cool interpretation of the Wu style.
