@MJsPyt2115 Yeah but he can still feel abandonment from either parent working it out in this scene. Divorce is horrible on a kid even at 13 because most parents don't think of how it will affect their children and don't emphasize that it isn't their children's fault that it's the parent's who don't love each other.

@keishabriann Really not bad at all. I lived without one, everything was all good, even when thinking about him.

@SubtleCityBand nooo , his dad and mom got divorced while he was 13 but he never abandoned his kids , Will even says in an interview that he doesn't know how his dad raised 4 kids and struggled the way he did , and his dad is in his video "Just the Two of Us"

He wasn't acting. IT was supposed to be that he said a line a walked out but Will Smith related so much that he improved that entire monologue. That was really him yelling at his father.

i love this scene because i can relate to it so much. i had a father figure just like will's father that did the exact thing to me. He means nothing to me anymore.

@whosane14 Don't apologize, your English is fantastic...also, I agree

@missgj i never said he did im just saying that was improvised
I cry every freaking time I see this. It reminds me of my biological dad who up and left when I was a baby. He never visited me or called me. And everytime I see this, it makes me wonder how a man can bring a child into this world and forget they even existed.
