The American DJ Fusion FX Bar 5, a member of the popular Fusion Series, has three effects built into one unit. It features a TRI Color LED Moonflower, LED Strobe effect and an ADJ "Galaxian Style" red and green laser. Users can activate this effect by Sound Activation, linking them in a Master/Slave configuration, by DMX-512 protocol, or by using the easy-to-use UC3 Controller.

The Fusion FX Bar 5 is energy efficient. It only draws a maximum of 32W, uses long-life LEDs rated at 50,000 hours, and can run all night with no duty cycle. Easily connect multiple Fusion FX Bar 5s together via the In/Out DMX connections, as well as, the In/Out IEC power connectors. The Fusion FX Bar 5 is a great value offering three effects on the same fixture, plus many professional features that make using this lighting effect enjoyable and rewarding.

I read that any lasers over 4.9mw must b mounted no less than 20 ft in the air.

@radar1607 Yes, it is illegal, at least in the USA. There are specific guidelines as to how this class of laser is to be mounted.

Sadly, that rule is being broken in countless clubs & weddings.

@cableaddict It's not "illegal". Laser can damage your eye only when you intentionally look straight to the static beam. Besides, laser fixtures emits beams in one direction only for a miliseconds.

I have a quick question, what's the standard way to treat a light with a LASER on it? if i put it on a lighting stand behind the band, what are the chances of it hurting people's eyes? love the idea but I'm worried about getting in trouble for it.
