As a member of the WRTOS/ATOS in Cleveland, this Christmas party in 2001 gave me the chance to try this fabulous NEW Wurlitzer installation for the first time. It was in a private residence, and is one of the largest instruments of it's kind. Being a bit rusty, but always willing, here goes nothin'! Turned out to be the start of a new interest. From Dec 2001

  • You are very talented, what a great performance. You need to produce a Christmas DVD/CD on one of these large theater organs. I would purchase it in a split second.

  • @gregrittichier Thanks, so much! That's a good idea. It's hard to spend enough time on one of these Wurlitzers to be ready for a project like that.

  • yes...6.5 mill I understand. The organ IS getting played, however. Thanks for noticing Js

  • Great performance! I love these big theatre organs too. But i had no chance to try out one just for fun.

  • I don't know where u live...but, google ATOS(American Theater Organ Society) and look for your local chapter. For 20 bucks a year, you can get involved in this social group, and play many large theater organs, including some in people's homes. That's how I had this opportunity...and just played another last Sat in the Phoenix area.

  • Sorry, I just realized you are in Germany. But there are many theater organ enthusists around the world! Johnny Sharp

  • This is ad shame the owner of the home passed away several months ago and the house sits with this big pipe organ not played. The house is for sale with the organ.

  • Thanks! You have a great FAVs page...I will be spending some time with it!

  • That must have been great fun! Well done! Love these great instruments.
