Unfortunately I never got to see New Orleans before Katrina. But even now it's a wonderful place. I really love the city.

Great video that expresses the sadness of all of us who didn't get there before Katrina. Thank you, NMS, for reminding us of what we all lost during those terrible days.

As the writer Buffy gets the royalties for this song....yes it is a great song. Hopefully a different voice will be performing it on a new CD within the next four months or so !!!

Whoever wrote the song, it's a great one; John and Buffy Stewart were wonderful songwriters, and human beings.

John Stewart was an excellent singer/songwriter; member of the famous folk group The Kingston Trio from 1961-1967 before heading out on his own and writing over 500 songs. I would definitely check him out -- message me if you're interested! :-)

What do you mean funny? If you're thinking of JON Stewart from Comedy Central, this is a different John. The John singing in this song is a great folksinger who has written over 400 songs. The Stewart you're thinking about it the one that does the Daily Show on Comedy Central. Great show, by the way! Thanks for watching my video.
