Created by the Ad Council and the US Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health, the "Could I Have Lupus?" campaign is designed to heighten awareness and create a sense of urgency about lupus. With the help of women who are actually living with lupus, we are sending a message to women who are suffering from lupus symptoms -- that they can find support, hope and, most of all, answers. They just have to start by asking the right question: "Could I have lupus?

@UnoRaza The problem with Lupus and with most autoimmune diseases is that they are VERY hard to pin down, and a lot of times it takes the patient becoming active in their own care for a diagnosis to be made. I was diagnosed with Lupus in June, and the only reason I was even tested was because a family member asked me if I had ever been checked for it. YOU have to know what's going on with your body, and it's imperative to know what questions you should ask your doctor when seeking diagnosis.

so here I'd had low blood cell count for a few years, but then I had lost weight for no reason and that scared him so he sent me to this other dr. So I do have it, but it's very mild at this time. He's not put me on any meds because I guess he feels that I do not need any which is fine with me:D I just have been so worried this past year. I have had a few times where I got fevers, but that's it. Anyway.. I hope that you guys are doing good. I have been reasearching about lupus. Tc.

HI. Well my Dr. said I have touch of lupus. He's been doing blood tests and seeing me almost a year and a half now. I came out and asked him and that's what he told me. My only symptoms are hair falls out, my skin changes in the sun, I have arthritis, I have tiredness and seizures, but Idk why they started. I got on meds for them in 2005. Lupus was never thought of then, but in april of 2007 I got very sick. I was dehydrated and throwing up my sugar was 40. (I do not have diabetes though) ...
