The new Twist-n-Pour paint container from Dutch Boy was a brand new product design in the paint industry that had only ever befriended the "can". This new container design was super easy to carry, super easy to open, super easy to pour and no mess. It was even easy to close and reseal without all that gooey paint mess around the can rim. The folks at Dutch Boy were really on to something.
Helping my Dad sell Dutch Boy paint out of our family hardware store when I was a little girl made the making of this spot even more fun. If I would have still been working there I would have witnessed first hand how this new paint container flew off the shelves. But working with Matthew Rolston on this spot wasn't all that bad either, he even used our original storyboarded choreography.
This was one of the most successful new product launches for the company and made it the top successful case study at the agency that year.

Where did that version of "I Like It Like That" come from? I've always wondered...? It's the main reason I remembered this commercial... although the paint can is cool too...
