The Dark Knight is a 2008 superhero film directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film is part of Nolan's Batman film series and a sequel to 2005's Batman Begins. Christian Bale reprises the lead role. The film follows Bruce Wayne/Batman (Bale), District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Assistant D.A. Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal), and Police Commissioner James Gordon (Gary Oldman) and their struggles and journey in combating the new rising threat of a criminal calling himself the "Joker" (Heath Ledger).


*Speech*
With this video you get two speeches in one video. The first is the speech Batman gives Gordon, which ironically is similar to what the Joker says to Batman earlier in the film. Upon seeing a dead Harvey Dent and realising the impact the Joker had on him, Batman tells Gordon that Dent must be recognised as a hero and not the short-term villain he became just before his death. You also see Batman as a broken man, convinced that is to blame for the deaths of Rachel and Harvey; and that Dent is the true hero, not himself.
The second speech and the more recognised one of the scene is the speech Gordon gives to his son. He asks his father why people are chasing Batman and trying to catch him, he simply expains they're chasing him because they have to. He explains that Batman is not a hero; he's a silent guardian, a watched protector, a dark knight.

Wow, like in Batman Begins videogame (not exactly): "Falcone's gone, Crane and Bruce Wayne too, all that's left, us Batman." in this movie we can add this: "The mafia's gone, Dent, Bruce Wayne and Gordon too, all that's left, is Batman, because Wayne is the mask, Batman is the new face" (I can't add the Joker, because Ra's Al Ghul isn't in the quote.
