Awesome project, that would look awesome in my workshop' showroom.
Let me tell you this is kinda expensive, only on the LED's you have 16 matrices times 30 dollars each, that equals to 480 dollars; then the rechargeable batteries, pic processors, and PCB manufacture, I calculate another 20 dollars times 16 units, equals to 320 more dollars, plus the labor.
It's worth it.
