A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to Scarlet Monastery

The World of Warcraft quest 'Reborn From The Ashes' leads to an interesting side effect of sorts. I initially discovered this the night before, then returned the next afternoon and shot this. I was hoping to bump into a Horde on the boats that I could kill and see if it rendered honour, but no luck there. I found this interesting and a bit entertaining. Maybe you will, too. :)

Neither. Zone phasing. It's the same technique they use in the Death Knight starter zone. Google it. :)

The song that plays when you're riding through Tirisfal after you first enter is beautiful. Would you mind telling me the name of it?

The title of that track is, "Josei Kokka Dai San Gakushou: Arata na Tane no Hozon to Henka," from the anime "Simoun." It was composed by Sahasi Toshihiko. It is the fifth track on the first soundtrack CD released.

It's the result of four years of playing. I normally have the social window on chat (and much smaller,) not the combat log, but I wanted people to be able to see more detail on what was happening. I've since removed the HuD health bars - I added them for when I was tanking but found them to be not much help.

I've added the specific quest to the video's description. The actual fight for UC is 2 or 3 steps away. It's interesting that the phasing for all areas kicks in immediately. Also, while I shot this the 'quest dialogue' in the upper middle changed to report on Jainna's progress down the sewer and into the city. They eventually captured it. Weird, since normally if you leave an escort quest alone it fails.

Woah... that is wierd... Did you do the chain to fight for undercity or w/e the alliance equivalent is?
