In 1947 Capitol Records released its third album of recordings by the Nat King Cole Trio, titled The King Cole Trio, Volume 3. Originally issued on 78 r.p.m. records, it was reissued on a 10-inch LP in 1950. "Too Marvelous for Words," written by Richard A. Whiting and Johnny Mercer in 1937 for the Warner Brothers film Ready, Willing and Able, is from that album. It is available on the 2002 Verve CD The Definitive Nat King Cole.
Glorious, glamorous and that old standby amorous.
