The waboba ball tends to bounce out of control. It's hard to play with because it requires a certain technique. And that just takes away all the fun.

They are repeatedly claiming or deliberately allowing the false impression to become adopted in advertising that it is the first ball to be able to bounce on water. They are advertising their "patent" to give the impression that the ability to bounce on water was unique to the waboba and patentable.
It's total BS and they are relying on the ignorance of kids to get away with it.

they only say "ball that bounce on water"
nothing about being the first
their main feature is the ball's surface being so slow in drag in respect to water so it doesn't lose as much kinetic energy as a tennis ball would.

It's easy to prove prior art with a tennis ball. I used to play tennis ball water bounce in the 1970s!!
Folks, get you cameras, bounce a garden variety Tennis ball on your pool or lake then post it on Youtube.
Bring your lawyer. Wabobba are claiming the first ball to bounce on water.

What is absurd is that any ball will bounce on water including a tennis ball, basket ball, cheap plastic ball.
It is just that most people don't think to try it and so some morons are amazed that a wabobba bounces on water.
Get a tennis ball and throw it hard and shallow at the surface of your local swimming pool. It will bounce on the water
Next these guys will try to sue Barnes Wallis and the WW2 Dambusters for patent infringement!!
