The climax and end titles to 'Paddy Boyle's Discharge', an episode from the first series of 'When The Boat Comes In'. Jack Ford (James Bolam) is approached by ex-army colleague Sid Hepburn (George Irving) to join the Black & Tans. Jack refuses, in deference to Paddy Boyle (Ralph Watson), another ex-soldier with Sinn Fein sympathies. The explosive ending at Gallowshield railway station was filmed at Whitley Bay rail station, now part of the Tyne & Wear Metro network.
Looks more like Tynemouth station to me.

@wehbem40 Oh right blood-suckers yea! I don't think so! Great Britain has and always will be a nation of fair play and you can ask the thousands of europeans who want to jump on the bandwagon of the great Welfare State and know they will be looked after and treated fairly - who wouldn't want to be in Gt. Britain??? I don't think the Brits ran in the 1st and 2nd World Wars A.Hole!
