Kansas City , Missouri is just across the Kansas state line.
You are correct it isn't Kansas, but the weather is the same.
(BTW-I live in Kansas.)

Yeah, it was about 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsius) that day.
But it's about 60 F (16 C) today.
That's the classic bi-polar Kansas weather for you.
It went from summer to fall in 2 days!-LoL
