KOMO 4 TV (Seattle) covers James Peters on a 24-hour World Record breaking skateboard ride: Pumping and pushing a skateboard for 195 miles in 24 hours.
Supporters who rode and helped off and on along the ride: Gareth Roe, John Stryker, Calin Schepler, Patrick Alldred, Gerry Croteau, Shane Donogh, Iliegh Amable, Jeremy Geier, Steve McElrath, Ken Barret, Spencer Smith, et al. Many of these guys rocked 20-30 miles themselves that day, and their infusion of energy is what kept pushing James forward, close to the goal of 200 miles.
So far we've raised around $2600 this year all at the grassroots level -- family, friends, and support from the skating community.
The next ride will be in Spring of 2008, possibly synched up with the Boardfree gang!
