Richie McDonald - Footprints on the Moon - World Premiere

This video was shot on July 4, 2008 in Lubbock, Texas at Lubbock's "4th on Broadway" celebration. Richie McDonald (formerly of Lonestar) was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and came home for this show.

This was the World Premiere performance of his brand new song entitled "Footprints on the Moon". Prior to performing it on stage that night, Richie himself had never heard the orchestration. The Lubbock Youth Symphony Orchestra did an outstanding job accompanying Richie and the Lubbock Texas Rhythm Machine.

Just remember: "How can the sky be the limit when there are already footprints on the moon?"

This was so much fun to play with him. The funniest thing is that his plane was late and so he got there and we played that with him for the first time during the actual preformance.

richie is'nt a jerk at all.. he is an amazing guy. and when he sang this song at our talent show i cried...molly is going to follow in her father's foot steps. and rhett is one of my best guy friends. i can literally trust him with my life..macy is so cute...i love the entire mcdonald family. they are all awesome...love audrey
