I tried removing the bolt by turning it clockwise, following the advice from different websites, and I ended up breaking the bolt off!! F@#K! Looking on youtube it looks like most circular saw bolts come off by turning it in the counterclockwise direction. The stupid manual didn't say which way to turn that bolt either.. Now I have to buy a screw extractor...
