I've placed my 1st stock options trade, a straddle, last Friday on Bank Of America. I called optionetics resource line today to discuss some things about it. I'm happy w/ optionetics service and even happier to see what happens on my trade!

  • you look delicious! the video was cut short too bad! lol

  • The reason they tell you to keep a 30 day cushion is because as expiration aproaches time decay will lower prices. The closer to expiration, the more the options will loose to time decay every day. With earnings reports the movement is usually within one days trading. You should be fine bro. I'm reading Get Rich With Options by Lee Lowell right now. I think it's a good book with good strategies. I don't earn anything from the sale of the book. You might even find it in the library. Mahalo bro.

  • The reason why the recommend that you have this 30 day cushion is that time decay will force the option prices down as they near expiration. The closer to expiration the more value the option will loose every day. Normally with earnings reports, the movement is visible within the next days trading. You should be fine bro. I hope you make all the money. I'm reading a good book that has what I feel are good strategies. Get Rich With Options by Lee Lowell. Check the library or amazon, etc.
