Backbone Campaign greets returning Congress on Sept. 4, 2007. This creative piece of "Gorilla" theater was meant to send the message that Congress should not take their jobs for granted. We are tired of excuses and want dramatic action to end the occupation of Iraq, restore civil liberties, cease the reckless and dangerous talk of bombing Iran and hold the criminals in this administration accountable through impeachment.

I would agree BJ,chimps are very intelligent but I loved the video. Backbone campaigners do have alot of backbone compared to the spineless cowards in congress who certainly don't represent the people. I would have loved to have pied the cowards too!

Impeachment is all I want from Congress. Impeach to end occupation in Iraq. Impeach to prevent an attack in Iran. Impeach to restore the constitution. Impeach to end torture. Impeach to restore Habeus Corpus. Impeach to end domestic spying. Impeach to restore balance of power. Impeach to end war crimes. Congress enables the Bush Administration in their relentless crimes against humanity and the American People. Remember, there are 300,000,000 of us and 525 of them.
