Melady Preece is my psychologist, she's awesome. She's a gender specialist. I was pretty nervous before my first session because I knew I was finally taking steps to transition, once the session got going though the nervousness went away. It was really nice to talk to her about everything and she asked me good questions that got me to think about things more. My 2nd vlog is a few days after I had my first session, you can find out more there :)

I knew you lived in Canada after I heard the appointment length - Canadian healthcare sucks. In America, you would get a much better checkup. I am Canadian too, but I hate it.

Sorry, you're completely wrong hun. Canada has one of the best healthcare systems in the world and we don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Lol I've never heard a Canadian say they hate our health care system before.

Those doses seem high cause you can get anti-androgens as low as 25 mg, and 2 mg of estradial is a more common dose on just 2 mg of estradial, and 25 mg of anti-androgen and just entering my 5 th month I am feminizing quick....I think those higher dosages are what cause many trans peoples issues......I self medicate as my doctor won't help me, and insurance will not cover the cost....but I get monitored for basics every 3-4 weeks.

I heard that the Canadian government covers SRS. Is that true? If so, by God, I really wanna live there... Over in America, HRT and SRS are barely EVER covered by anyone, and MTF SRS over here can cost anywhere from US$5-10K... :(
