@filmidioten He meant in real life, not his screen persona. I hate to break it to you but just because someone acts jovial on TV doesn't necessarily mean they are the same way in person. There have been quite a few performers who seem very easy going with senses of humor on screen but in real life quite the opposite. And of course examples of tough guys who were quite the opposite in real life.

Has Snyder even heard of Alfred Hitchcock?
-
The guy actually asked ALFRED HITCHCOCK whether he has a sense of humour??? Had Tom Snyder even watched any Hitchcock-movies before this interview??? Sheesh...
-
fuck tom, this guy is so dumb, but Hitchcock is legend.

Obviously, no interviewer will really live up to the expectations we have towards someone interviewing a great innovating genious like Hitch, but i think this Snyder fellow seems like a nice enough guy.
-
this interviewer is a fool

He has so much poise and class, where are our elder role models like this? I see no modern gentlemen in the same league as Hitch.

am i the only one who thinks tom snyder is weird.

No one tells a story like Hitch.
