@bftkp976431 Do you mean off of the camcorder? It has a firewire port for connecting to a computer, but you'd need 1. a computer with a firewire port on it; 2. a firewire cable; 3. editing software capable of supporting firewire (most do these days). Did that answer your question?

However, if you're just starting out, I'd advise getting a newer camcorder than the DVC15. It's a great camera, but at this point, these units are old and tend to be troublesome. Get an AG-DVC20... very similar, newer model still on the market.
