Th3lukewarm here is a little tide bit for you america has turned the tide on every major conflict has had the pleasure of birthing some of the greatist medical minds in the world one of wich has brought the world closer to curing cancer recently ,we were the first on the moon we are still a driving force for democracy and free speak and if you dont like it thats fine but if you have something derogatory to say about the USA and claim theirs nothing to be proud of because mistakes have been made

if you don't like it, don't play it! simple as that...IF you took the time to listen to the lyrics, he is not 'dissin' Alabama...he's talking about the state (for lack of a better word) that it is in..which if you knew your History,w/ the hangings,civil rights, etc.you would understand. "you've got the rest of the Union, to help you along..." My people are from Tuscaloosa & I don't look at the song as a put-down to Alabama.....I like Neil Young...btw Carthsgtr, he doesn't sing girly songs..
