I'll never forget the first time I heard this song live. I already had the album and had listened to it a million times. Then I went to his show and I literally teared up when he performed this song. I love this man.

shitty synchronisation,not worth watching.

I knew Jim, I lived up the street from him.

@jjboyjames I agree, but the way I see it Jim has the best gig in the world. Playing keys for Cray has got to be even better then Paul Shaffer's cushy gig.

Cray's voice and guitarwork simply carries me right along with each note. His smooth reminds me of Sam Cooke.
What a guitarist and singer. Simply great!

Just discovered Robert Cray after a flyer landed on my doorstep this morning for a local gig. He's great, and I;m off to get my tickets for the Bridgewater Hall Manchester.
My wife thinks he sounds a bit like James Carr. I have to agrre.

The more I listen to this man play and sing the more I realize just how much is going on with his playing; he plays like no one else.

Saw him in Aberdeen, WA recently.. Jim Pugh really steals the show, really.. he's awesome

He is not as big as he should be.

Jim Pugh is THE MAN! ! ! !
That man knows how to develop a solo over many bars, not just playing fancy lick after fancy lickwith no musical continuity, like most keyboard players I've heard. Its not enough to be a good technician if you can't develop a musical idea over more than two bars. Jim Pugh is one of the few who can pull that off beautifully.

I agree, he has a great sense of narrative in his playing. Nice to know he's still with Robert after a recent shake-up that saw Karl and Kevin leave the band.

OMG, didn't know........what happened to Karl and Kevin? We are just getting ready to purchase tix to see the band in Chico, and don't want any surprises. I would have been heartbroken if Jim left the group.

Last I heard Robert Cousins is back on bass and Tony Braunagel is the new drummer.

No, they've definitely moved on. Check Wikipedia for the new lineup. There's also a recent clip elsewhere on YouTube featuring Richard and Tony.
