  • If you're interested in the impact of migration on Chinese families, particularly left-behind children (留守儿童), Ye Jingzhong has written a lot on the subject. Do a google search for him. "Left-behind children in rural China : impact study of rural labor migration on left-behind children in mid-west China" is a good introduction to the issue.
