a samurai, firing arrows at you from the back of a giant pekingese. Absolutely epic!

The ending sound is very nice. I really want to have all the sound tracks in this game. Really 300% classical Japanese style music. Love it :)

this is 1 of KONAMI's best WORK!!! this you could party and play with 2 ppl and all the side tracks and games, ..i could play this game start to finish and not get tired of it, bring it back for the PS Network its WORTH IT!!

I doubt most Americans would have known about a man who was boiled alive. Just calling the game "Legend Of The Mystical Ninja" would have been a job well done because this was USA's first Goemon game. Calling it Goemon may have been like WAT to some people. Now the title of the game was handled nicely but the localization is something terrible.
Kid Ying and Dr.Yang were very unnecessary changes.

It's to my knowledge that this game is originally called "Ganbare Goemon" in Japan. And yet it was called "Legend of the Mystical Ninja" in America. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that if that was the original title, then I think it be called "Shinpi Ninja Densetsu" in Japan. And it's title would be written in kanji characters like this "神秘忍者伝説".

Why would they would release this game in the west under a title made up totally of Kanji characters. For a sales point of view, Konami would not like the idea if European or North American kids saying....I have got this game called Shinpi Ninja Densetsu, it is amazing. The amazing part maybe, but the name no. So they renamed it, for common sense purpouses.
