Track 8 from the Blackberry Jams album. A very demo-y version of "Perpetual Burn", but I prefer this one to the final released on the Album of the same name. On this video, I have put some of my favourite images of Jason, but also, in the beginning I have some pics of the new JB signature guitar that will be released by Paradise Guitars sometime in the future. This guitar will be based off of his original Peavy. I have no more information about the guitar, but you can keep up with progress at Jason's myspace page myspace.com/jasonelibecker. PS The final image is from his NEW ALBUM set to be released November 4th 2008!!!

Edit: Wow, over 1000 views! Come on, tell everyone you know, help spread the word about Jason, he needs our support!!

  • This is actually Perpetual Tudes. the 2 songs a very similar at some parts. but not at all the same song. Look its up. Jason Becker Perpetual Tudes.

  • No, this is Perpetual Burn. If you listen to Perpetual 'Tudes, you'll notice parts of Perpetual Burn and Altitudes in it (hence it's name). There are no parts of Altitudes in this song.

  • What is wrong with you guys?

  • I read somewhere, perhaps a Guitar World interview with Jason that a new signature guitar is in the works... this one would be a remake of his Blue Hurricane, the one he played at the AIM clinic... now THAT would be awesome!!!

  • A quick note: A lot of people don't like the look, but a guitar made to Jason's specifications, I guarantee, is anything but "gay", regardless of how it looks. Plus I like the look. As Jason's "signature" guitar it signifies him. "Oh look, Jason Becker's guitar!" I mean, I think the James Hetfield signature guitar looks like shit, but that doesn't mean it's not amazing. Of course guitarists like aesthetics, but then again you would really stand out with this one.... enough, I'm rambling now...

Like most of this album's songs, this is great improvised stuff played together with parts of songs from the first album, "Perpetual Burn"

  • @Desimodontidae Hey well i think the next one will be the blue Carvin that was the one he used in the AIM clip and the 1989 Japan clip.

  • I remember Jason saying he had a hard time with this song. You can tell a little in this demo.
