HK reporting on her WEEK 14 weight loss with Take Shape for Life Medifast. It's been a frustrating time. I have been on a plateau of a 20 lb loss for 5 long, tedious weeks. It's "Ultimatum" time for Medifast. I need to see some results! It may just be time to move on. Time to make some new goals for my health and fitness journey. Meanwhile, looking forward to watching "Biggest Loser" tonight! :)

  • keep it up. Have you tried changing up the plan? No bars? Have you talked to nutrition support? Keep going, do what you can.

  • Thanks Sassie for watching and commenting. Check out my Week 15 update.

  • TM - thanks for your comments and sharing your experience.

  • I am thankful for the 10 lbs or so that I have lost and now I will continue my journey somewhere else. I think that anytime I do hit a plateau, Medifast would be the perfect diet to help me break that plateau, and who knows maybe in the future I might try Medifast again, to see if maybe things do change, who knows, it never hurts to give it another chance.

  • There are people who actually are able to cheat a little and still keep on losing the weight on Medifast. I will tell you something. I for one are probably more overweight than u, and probably lost the weight at an even slower rate. People kept telling me maybe I did this wrong or that wrong. But I didn't . I have been off the diet for 1 week, managed to not gain anything back. What I did was still ate very little, weened myself of the diet little by little, until my body got adjusted.

  • I would move on if I were you. That is what I'm doing. I lost 7.5 lbs. the 1st week of medifast, second week 2lbs., and the 3rd week and on from no weight per week, to 1lb at the most. This diet does not work the same for everybody. Before I went on Medifast I was eating healthy, not restricting myself nearly as much, and I was losing probaby about 2 to 3 lbs. per week. I was stupid to think that this wasn't enough and decided to try Medifast which is far more drastic.
