This will probably illicit a great big WTF from everyone. This game is called Freddy's Rescue Roundup. It was created in 1983 by IBM and released into the public domain. This game came bundled with I played this game in the second grade once or twice. This game came bundled with a number of other strange games like "Funnels and Buckets"
This game does not really have sound as it predates the advent of sound cards. Keep in mind, these workstations had 8088 and 8086 CPUs, no hard drive, 720 K Floppy drives and the monitor affixed to the chassis.
It took me some 20 years to find this game since I last played it. I'm very sad because in the past I had a DOS Based Tandy that could have played this game perfectly well.
At least I have it now.
I was apparently even unmotivated in elementary school, as I can remember sneaking off to the computer lab and playing this for hours. At that time we only referred to/knew it as 'Freddy', and were all confused because it had nothing to do with the only Freddy we knew, he of the Kreuger variety.

@robotclean5000 I really wanted to be able to beat this game, but in some ways, it's harder than the real Lode Runner. I've gotten far in the game.

Game should have sound, I have it on my IBM PS/2 Model 25 (came with it, and it does have a musical tune at the beginning, and several sounds).

@hakemon You are correct. I have to re-record it.
