Cleft Palate Progression Before and After Speech Therapy

This video shows the results of Speech Therapy for a general cleft palate. Speech Therapy was in progress for four years. I know new parents to a baby or young toddler with any type of cleft palate/lip find themselves worried about how their child will talk. This video demonstrates that after some years of therapy, they can live their life with normal and regular speech. I myself was born with a right unilateral cleft lip and palate, and went through 7-8 years of speech therapy. I have normal speech as well for the most part, as demonstrated in this video also.
