Mine sounds a bit like that, not quite that loud, they use a Gilmer belt type for timing belt which do make noise, depends on belt manufacturer used etc search gilmer belt drive and you will see how much noise external ones make, if this doesnt ease your mind I'd take it to a specialist

that high pitched whining is NOT right....I heard that noise before when the timing belt pulley was not installed correctly and was rubbing on the crank damper
