The person shooting this video is frightening, and in a large number of ways. My mother screamed a bit when he showed himself, and my proctologist (who was spending the night with us), actually made us stop playing the video. Clearly, this video should have a warning for children, perhaps something like "Caution, may cause nightmares". Once this video is seen, it cannot be unseen. Oh the horror!

well i used the USB cable.. Just to see how much difference there is between HDMI and USB. Well there is alot of difference, but check my "JVC on the crane'' video, it's still HD, even without the HDMI cable.

use it with sony vegas , and DONT use the usb cable, tranfer the movies from camera to computer with: hdmi to hdmi.
u will get better quality + youtube HD.

Once iMovie imports and converts the footage, it will be the imovie events folder. In FCP import the footage from that location. You do need the quicktime component and update from JVC-they also have a video posted with step by step instructions.
