I don't base games on how real their visuals look, but DF just hurts my eyes for some reason..

@IIxXGhostTrainXxII I'd suggest looking into the Lazy Newb Pack, comes with a bunch of utilities, as well as an easy to apply graphics patcher. Still 2d blockish. But it's better.

looks nice in 3d, is it just a snap shot or can you actually play like that? never used stonesense

@jay012345678912 You can hit pause over in the normal game window, and all the dwarves and animals and such will move around doing their things, but stonesense dosen't show everything like objects or stockpiles, and there's no interface, so it's more of a side program for viewing how your fort looks.
