The Salvos at Glastonbury 21/08/2010 SHADOWS MEDLEY.(APACHE, GUITAR TANGO, F.B.I. DANCE ON SHADOOGIE.) The SALVOS were formed in SOMERSET .UK. in 1960 they were Somersets top band, and with their singer EDDY DARK, played throughout the West Country for 5 years, They won local and national rock contests, and had a large and active fan club. They reformed with the original lineup in 2004, for the launch of a Rock N Roll book by BARRY SOWDEN, in which they were heavily featured. In 1966, Simon Mapstone son of rhythm guitarist Brian Mapstone, joined THE SALVOS, on keyboards, adding further dimension. this video was filmed at the farewell appearance of vocalist EDDY DARK, who is leaving the band. The other members MIKE ARGENT lead guitar, NIKO PONSILLO bass guitar, and JOHN LACEY drums, will continue to play in THE SALVOS, with BRIAN AND SIMON MAPSTONE. Brian will take on the mantle of singer as well as playing guitar. They have engagements planned in Somerset in January and August 2011.REHEARSALS HELD AT JAGZ MUZIK WESTON SUPER MARE

  • @danielguerracaballer ,Thanks Daniel, Im glad you like our medley, Mike the lead guitarist is playing the latest yamaha pacifica 112v, in antique white, Im Brian Rhythm guitar, my Yamaha is older, a Pacifica 412v, if youre a guitarist, Ive also had it coil tapped to give the sound I get on the medley.check out our other instrumentals, cruel sea, and walkdont run , both originallyby the Ventures. keep in touch.
