In this tutorial, I show you how to basically group tracks together using compositing in Sony Vegas Pro 10. Compositing is the process of mixing video tracks to create a single layered output. You can use compositing in conjunction with masks to cover portions of video or to limit the effects of a filter as shown in this tutorial.

  • Is it just me, or do you have a slight scottish accent?

  • I always learn so much! I hope you will look at my latest video and look at the effects I made in Vegas, after much practicing.

  • Hallo Robert! Thx for one more great tutorial.

Please can you show us how to have a preview screen and your "working result" screen? I saw it once at someone else's tutorial, asked and he never answerd. What I mean is that I want to see the results not in one screen but in two (one beside other). The Final cut pro, premiere, even pinnacle has it as standard. Hope you can help me.

    Cheers, Joãozinhobrazil.

  • Awesome tutorial thanks!Best tutorials ever!
