  • if racing is cruel we should ban all rodeo sports cos many horses are injured and die in those too. we could also ban eventing cos dressage horses pull tendons and such, showjumpers fall and cross country horses often fall or have heart attacks or injure themselves on jumps. carriage driving should then be banned cos horses slip on the roads or get into accidents and riding school ponies get kicked/whipped and worked too long... oh wait, that means horses can only be used for eating. SHUT UP!

  • Racehorses are bred to race not to sit in a stable all day THERE THOURGHBREDS not welsh poneys.. so all you people trying to say racing is cruel LEAVE OUR SPORT ALONE anyway its better than golf

  • these race horses get treated alot better than any of you anti racing fools bet they smell better too.

  • You know why they were made to miss that fence ... It's because there was a dead horse on the other side of it, and some of you people agree with that ... You people really have no idea maybe you should do some fucking research, you'll be shocked

  • I am used to trotting and it looks safer than racing with all these loose horses runnung along.

  • I love how the people on here supporting horseracing can't even string a sentence together. If only we could race morons in some kind of yearly event. Make that daily.

  • should leave the Grand national alone. Aintree has bent over backwards to introduce safety measures over the passed 20 years. World horse welfere and the RSPCA are working with aintree always trying to improve safety. Where was the out cry when there was 2 horse deaths at Badminton horse trials a few years ago? Horses are bred to race and the stable lads/girls spend day and night through rain or snow to look after there horses. if you dont like it then dont watch it end of story

  • @vixitrixalina Yes rodeo is barbaric and practised by neanderthals eating hormone filled meat stuck in the victorian ages and without passports. Using horses anywhere for human competition is wrong - there are extremely competitive people out there who will go to no end to win - dressage is incredibly cruel in the wrong hands.

  • It should be law that all horses entered have insurance that covers all medical expenses - including the treatment of broken legs etc and loss of that horse to competition. The injuries caused in these races are not life threatening - they just mean an end to competitive life, & the owners don't want to pay for it. Make it law - the insurance premiums will reflect exactly how dangerous it is (which is saying something in itself). Broken legs are fully treatable in horses.

  • @hahamadeyoulook1 would you like to be run to your death

  • @vixitrixalina Rodeo is PURE ANIMAL ABUSE
