You don't need to ask for "our" respect or understanding. It is disgusting that "we" aren't begging for yours. I live in Canada and instead of saying "I am Canadian" identify as a "white settler". My ancestors stole land through rape, torture, and greed from your ancestors and "my" people are still abusing "your" people everyday. Telling your version of the truth is racist, just like some of my relatives' is. 2. OK, you don't like it? That was the deal the Crown made in the treaties, that Canada had to take care of the needs of the reserves to the same levels as the provinces, and we don't do it. If you want to start over again, and give the country back the way it was...
