HOW TO SET UP A POOL TABLE | A LESSON

Some things things are best left to the pros. -like diagnosing a disease, pouring concrete or installing an HVAC system to name a few. Some might argue that installing a pool table is another. On the surface it seems simple enough but even the smallest mistake can lead to an uneven play surface, ruining enjoyment of your investment in a pool table. In this segment Kathy Vegh, The Home Entertainer, introduces us to a couple of her colleagues who have many years of experience installing hundreds and hundreds of tables. Hector and Jason walk us through the steps of setting up a Brunswick slate pool table from start to finish: assembling and leveling the frame, placing and leveling the slate to ensure the truest play surface, stretching the cloth and finally attaching the rails, apron and pockets. We're shown the most effective techniques, how to ensure a level surface and the best tools to use in the process.
