  • Thta's a stress difference. English is a stress timed langaue adn Japanese is mora--so any mora language or syllable timed English L 1 speakers destroy

  • It's easier for me to pronounce Japanese than English... and I'm American.

I have a slight speech impediment and for me, English is too sharp and odd.

Japanese feels nicer, my whole mouth feels relaxed. I don't feel like I'm forcing myself to say the words.

My friend from Finland also has a similar problem. He doesn't pronounce his Finnish right, but he speaks better in English.

  • I swear by watching anime you get that stuff easier.

    :)

  • always goog to learn a few words

  • i thought that you weren't supposed to use "da" after an adjective for the impolite form but you said "hada kirei da ne". am i wrong?

  • I like your videos very much! i am currently studying Japanese in college as a beginner. I took it in high school but that was 3 years ago, so I'm starting over again, but its nice to watch your videos and pick out words that i once knew. its really nice to get conformation on words that i learned before and know that my teacher wasn't wrong on some points. So thank you so much for your videos, they are VERY helpful. and very entertaining, in a good way.

  • I got it.

  • thank you very much ^^
