  • Sheridan + Tuba = Badass

  • Saw Pat Sheridan and S. Pilafian in concert last night. Unbelievable. And their laid-back improv style with random humor was fantastic. Awesome performance.

  • what kinda of tuba is that??

  • @Xemk2143 The unfortunate thing is that he phrases better than he plays technically. People get easily distracted by his double-tonguing at 3000bpm to notice that he plays Rachmanninoff's Vocalise Op. 34, among other pieces, better than a lot of string players. He is one of a small group of tubists who can phrase like a virtuoso string player or vocalist.

  • excellent performance, other than he and the pianist kept getting off from each other

  • @KauaiBallerof2012 Don't get me wrong. Roger Bobo is one of the best tuba players that have ever lived and has a huge impact on the tuba for everyone, but Patrick Sheridan is like no other, his Technical Playing is the best in my opinion.

  • @LuolDeng4MVP obviously you've never heard of Roger Bobo

  • @tubamarc8891 not alive... ever

  • Best technical player alive today
