One of my good friends, Princeton strength coach Angie Brambley, got married at the end of 2011. She asked me to put together a workout for the bridesmaids the day of the event, so we completed two rounds of the following circuit. Work time was 45 sec., transition time was 15 sec.
1) Reel-Him-Ins: Same as renegade rows (but without the pushup).
2) Lovers' Lunge Left: Lateral lunge to your left.
3) Lovers' Lunge Right: Lateral lunge to your right.
4) Divine Pushups: Same as t-spine pushups.
5) Aisle High-Steps: Rapidly step up and down from a low platform (i.e., finally, a good use for a treadmill!). Lead with your left foot the first time through and your right the second.
6) Wedding Ring Stacks: While holding a plank position, move a stack of small plates from one side to the other and back again.
