The first American casualty of the Gulf War, Navy Captain Michael Scott, was found buried in the desert west of Baghdad. As Kimberly Dozier reports, it has been a long wait for his family.

  • @mnpd007 His status was originally MIA, then not long after KIA, then back to MIA which is why he was promoted.

    No such thing as O-6 at age 33. Might have happened in WWII, but not since. The guy had a couple of posthumous promotions after he came up missing. He was a mid-career lieutenant commander.
