The video says that this is only for the iPad, what if I want to make one for iphone, android, blackberry etc.?

That's correct for the current version of App Studio, however in the next 30 days we'll be releasing the new App Studio (which you can find at appstudio . net) that supports iPad, iPhone, Kindle Fire and Android smartphones and tablets.

RE: Quark Crash City! This release IS NOT ready for Prime Time! Been using Quark for almost 20 years. I'll have to stick with v8; Too bad... was hoping to utilize "App Studio". Quark 9.3.0.1 CRASHES constantly! I've been on the phone with the support ladies in India. Done everything they asked me to do- This is the buggiest piece of software I have ever encountered. Don't waste your time. No other issues with any of my other software using Mountain Lion. Mac 2.8 Tower. 16GB RAM. OS Mountain Lion

We have many customers using App Studio successfully on Mountain Lion, please see forums.quark.com

And please be aware that only QuarkXPress 9.3.1 (and higher) is certified on Mountain Lion. Have you tried this version?

At 1:00 you have iOS simulator with the Issue Previewer showing. How? Mine just has a base version of the iPad?

@treborretnim @treborretnim When you install the simulator it will just have this base version with no other apps. You'll need to install the version of the Issue Preview app that came with your copy of QuarkXPress 9.2. Instructions for this are on page 46 of the current version of the Guide to App Studio included in the QuarkXPress documents folder and also available on our Web site.
