Potato House Permaculture Pension Pt. I: The Garden

This is a video to show the beginning state of the Potato House Permaculture Pension Garden. For those that don't know, a pension is Japanese English for a type of B&B (Bed and Breakfast) that also serves dinner. My wife and I just moved in, and are in the process of giving the place a Permaculture make-over.

The Potato House Permaculture Pension is located at 1,000 meters above sea-level at the base of beautiful Mt. Fuji on Lake Yamanaka (Yamanakako) here in Japan.

OG...it's always hard getting started...and I still feel like I'm just getting started. Soil rehabilitation is tough at 1,000 meters above sea-level in a very rainy spot on the north face of a mountain...and with a short growing season. Shifting away from flowers toward food is slowly coming along one bed at a time. Thanks for watching!
