@bigbronzespider Yes I'm aware it was reflecting religious attitudes regarding HIV. And I think those attitudes come from a larger religious intolerance of anything deemed sexually promiscuous like homosexuality or reproductive rights, attitudes held by Palin. You all are missing the point. This is not about Sara Palin and her idiocy. This is about the way the Roman Catholic Church and the Reagan Administration showed their complete indifference to the Plague that is AIDS. How many of you posting these inane comments were adults during the worst years of the Plague? How many of you watched a beautiful friend waste away to nothing but skin and bones due to AIDS. @Jamzlesndistress While yes, Plague Mass was a response to the way the Catholic church and the "right" use(d) HIV/AIDS to justify the condemnation of homosexuality, I do think that that the Plague Mass is also a broader comment on society's homophobia and given that Palin does represent all that is repulsive about the neo-conservatives, I feel that juxtaposing this track with her image is pretty legit.

Please try to understand guys, I can much easier show my mother this video instead of David Wojnarowicz' "Fire In My Belly" video.
