Share your favorite novel and how it relates to how you think about stuff! Its fun! Plus i need stuff to read!

Atlas Shrugged, way crucial book, just make sure you look for the truth. its in there, but some of these objectivist types wouldnt like it if you called it what it actually is

i would send you mine, but my copy is conspicuously absent

i know its long, and kinda boring if you arent really into it, but i have now spent 9 mins trying to psyche you up for it. its totally worth it

  • Ayn Rand the primitivists.

  • I recommend reading We The Living by Ayn Rand. Its kinda sad though, Kira gets shot and dies.

  • Here's a few books/authors I hope you do vids on: Jarod Diamond, Derrick Jensen, John Livingston, Rachel Carson, Columbus and other Cannibals by Jack Forbes...

    Thanks!

  • Have you read Original Wisdom by Robert Wolff? that book deeply influenced me, especially my experience towards nature and all living things in general. A real glimpse into the Sng'oi 's spiritual and simple life.

  • The false economic crisis has nothing to do with a fall of the system, but rather the increasing hold of an empire behind an empire. Democracy for all those whom obey.

Try kingdom of God is within- Leo Tolstoy Pros and cons of passive resistance to evil. Brilliant concepts. It isn't really Bible bashing stuff. Free pdf on net.

  • hey, thanks for the recommendation, and I highly recommend checking out The Ascent of Humanity by Charles Eisenstein, it is a non-fiction masterpiece about how to solve our current crises, and its online for free, so id recommend checking out the intro and see if you like it. peace

  • I would recommend One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The rise and fall of civilization and the circular nature of time (as opposed to linear 'progress' of civilization) are major themes. It's quite a unique and beautiful piece of literature that will definitely leave a lasting impression.

  • well it seems like they start smaller and get bigger so I'm going to start with the 80 page one being dyslexic and all lol

Thanks for this as having an idea of what to "look" for to in the story helps me paint a picture as I read long books.

  • hey i was looking for the audiobook link, please do -thank you

  • I've got my grandmother's old, held-together-by-elastics, copy of the Fountainhead, but i've never read it. I'd suggest teh Illuminatus! triology. It's an a lot of fun novel. i just finished listening to it. Look it up, and if you want i can send you the audiobook link.
