This is a baby catfish that i caught by hand in the rocks at Osage State Lake in Kansas just after spawn. I'm pretty sure its a channel because this lake aint known to have blues in it.
u can tell if it a channel or not cause of the tail, if the tail makes a v then its a channel but if the tail is squared then its a bullhead its one or the either cause usually flatheads will stay in deep waters with a school of flaties or its parents hey check out my channel in a few days and watch my new vid with a baby catfish in it like tht one

The dark color makes me think it's a flatty not a bullhead.Pretty cool either way.I had a slender madtom about the same size.
