Heah, I know people keep possums when they are sick or injured, but I am not so sure if they should be a pet. They tend to be happy living in the roof and coming out at night and travelling around the neighbourhood eating flowers and fruit etc., but they do this naturally. Oscar is very friendly, but still snaps at my fingers if they smell like food. Otherwise I can pat him like a cat pretty much, partly because he doesn't care and partly because when he does he is too slow to bite me.
