Dude, You are more of a guitar solo dude, thats cool. But to point out this album lacks variety due to lack of solos is making you biaist.Yes personal Preference but you pretty much slammed them for not having more solos. Solos aren't always typically metal, but some solos kick ass. Eg. Machine Head, killer solos, Lamb Of God, straight destruction .keep that in mind when reveiwing an album, and have a little more background on a band. I am not being pissy or anything, just pointing out a fact.

Lamb of God is not metal core......l and people, please!!!!! They used a full friggin orchestra and an opera singer , what else do you want!?!?!? Lamb of God = Pure, Straight up, METAL

Usually Lamb of God don't do many guitar solos, however I appreciate their style since I like metalcore. Your review was great since it covered different aspects of the album. I still haven't heard the album yet, but will do so now since I have been a big Lamb of God fan for a while so I hope this new album is good. Thanks for the review, really appreciated.

i think it's funny how people complain about certain metal bands like LOG, if they put out a record and change their "formula", everyone bitches..if they stick to their formula on every record....everyone bitches. having a signature sound IS WHAT IT IS to be a memorable band.

ummm.....no guitar solos until "The Undertow"....did you even listen to Ghost Walking??
@Riseofaiden Yes, I did, and if there was one in there, it didn't catch my ears.
