Vor 30 Jahren geschah im Kernkraftwerk Three Mile Island in der Nähe von Harrisburg/Pennsylvania ein sehr ernster Unfall.
Auch deutsche Kernkraftwerke wurden damals auf Sicherheit geprüft und teilweise verbessert.
Der Betrag von Joachim Bublath zeigt als Beispiel das Kernkraftwerk Biblis wenige Jahre nach der Inbetriebnahme.
Im Gegensatz zu Three Mile Island wirkt die Schaltwarte von Biblis sehr aufgeräumt und modern.

Nearly thirty years ago happened an very serious accident in the nuclear power plant Three Mile Island not far from Harrisburg/Pennsylvania.
German nuclear power plants were inspected and made better at this time.
The last television report shows the nuclear power plant of Biblis few years after starting up in 1974.
The control room of NPP Biblis looks
in contrast to TMI uncluttered and modern.

nuclear energy was never cheap - except for the energy-supplier. most of the exorbitant costs are paid by public spendings - from you and me... - and there will be much more spendings for the waste (if the waste-problem is solved ever).

Das stimmt auch...in der Kühlturmtasse ist eine nennenswerte Menge des Kühlwassers gespeichert. In den großen Braunkohlekraftwerken im rheinischen Revier z.B. (die größten Blöcke haben auch Leistungen im Bereich bis zu 1GW) wird nur das Verlustwasser aus den Brunnen in den Tagebauen nachgespeist. Ansonsten zirkuliert das Kühlwasser und ein sehr großer Teil wird in der Kühlturmtasse (also im Kühlturm) gespeichert. Alles klar :-)

Well, nuclear is still a good source of cheap energy. Better fail-safe systems are now in place.

3 mile island was a medical facility designed to save american jews in the event of WW3 whilst eveyone else would die. The communists revealed this conspiracy to the world and the Americans had to invent a radiation leak cover story to protect the high ranking jews that run america.
